UPDATE: Now with a dual color version with the board split into two STL files. I had an idea today, this is the result. It's a chess board that will fit inside an Altoids tin. I didn't find one here, so I made one. It's mostly meant to be used with a reference book to walk through games for analysis. The colors are offset from one another. Print this in your chosen light color, for me it's white. You can spray paint the whole thing the dark color, black for me, or fill in the top parts with permanent marker. Then you can sand the board a couple times on a flat bit of sand paper to restore the light color. You could also over complicate the process by taping over the board with painters tape and using a razor to cut as shown in the last couple pictures. I initially thought that I had a white spray paint, but as it turns out, it's black. It's designed for use with I'm uploading them individually because this is original, the pieces are remixes of the 4D Staunton Chess Pieces. You could miniaturize your own pieces, but at this size, things like the swirly chess pieces won't work. Remember, white square on the right, Queen's throne is her own color.
If you want to print in two colors with one extruder, the pause height will be at 0.8 mm.
